It’s kind of ironic that men tend to notice physical features first, but few of the girls have posted photos. lol. I’m new to the online afghan dating scene, but more and more people I know start great relationships this way, so here goes! My looks: I’m tall, on the thin side of average and have tan skin, long brown hair. I was born in Kabul but grew up in the East Coast and have lived in SF for several years now. I come from a religious but open-minded and close knit family. Though I am not religious myself, I do want to be with with someone who is Muslim (but like me - not religious), and preferably Afghan. I’m a “sangeen” girl but can be silly too. My favorite thing to do is travel, and I have traveled a lot (probably over 25 countries by now) and I hope to someday be one of those rickety 80 year olds who still has the passion to see new things. I'm looking for someone who is professionally ambitious (like me) but also curious, cares about the world around him, is outgoing and is willing to wander off the beaten path and try something spontaneous and adventurous now and then with me. The Quranic Aya is: Ina Allaha ala kuli shaien qadeer. Though, I don't like the internet thing, but because MARRIAGE IS 1/2 OF OUR DEEN and practicing afghans(on correct-aqeeda) are rare, so for this reason a person like myself is here; any way, my goal in everything I do is to PLEASE ALLAH (s.w.t.). Iam a PRACTICING Sunni muslima and UNIVERSITY GRADUATE who grew up in Canada. I have lived a modest, and chaste life, alhamdulilah. People describe me as a honest,reliable, caring,intelligent, RELIGIOUS, gentle and pretty muslima. Basically I am a well-rounded person, alhamdullilah; a nice blend of East-West. Sure there are lots of people out there, but amongst Afghans, very very few would be my type, this has been my experience thus far in life when compared with those brothers who have been interested in marrying myself. By the way, I DON'T GO OUT ON DATES, as this is not permissible in Islam, and I follow Islamic rulings as they are for our benefits, hope this is clear. If a sister needs to be seen, she must be accompanied by her MAHRAM(ex. her Dad). Iam looking for ONLY RELIGOUS and WELL-MANNERED(good character) brother, to put it in simple terms. I also believe it would be good idea if this site provides people with more choices in the list to select from. For the question, By using this site I expect: marriage. Serious relationship and the likes are not permissible in Islam nor are they right. Those who are players, please don't bother contacting me. May all your good wishes come true! Salaam, I feel a bit nervious about coming on this site and putting up my profile, but I feel that there is nothing wrong with trying to meet "our own people" :) I work and live in Northern California. I enjoy outdoor activities just as much as spending quality time with family and friends. As most of you surely know, parents often like to play "match makers" and I am sure neither any of us would like to be "matched up" so I thought I would give this a try. I am not in a rush to get married, its more important to meet the right person first and know him "inside/out" before one decides to take a huge step like that... To make a long story short :) I am looking for someone who feels the same and who I am compatible with. Communication is the excellent tool for that. We can always take it from there and see where it takes us.Besides that, "HE" should have great values, should be ambitious, educated, sincere and last but not least "fit"...hahahaha..GOODLOOKING is just a bonus... wink* wink* Khuda Hafiz Btw, I took my picture off because I was getting a lot of crazy messages!
