Im doing this against my will. Uff, mother. But yeah, I'm Laila. I'm half Afghani and half Icelandic. (Iceland is a country, I SWEAR!) I am more afghani than icelandic. I love to eat, dance (Im a bellydance instructor part time) and enjoy life. I love to joke and love to smile but most of all, i like to live because that's what I do best. ;) *muah*

I have high standards. :) Three passions have governed my life: The longings for love, the search for knowledge, And unbearable pity for the suffering of [humankind]. Love brings ecstasy and relieves loneliness. In the union of love I have seen In a mystic miniature the prefiguring vision Of the heavens that saints and poets have imagined. With equal passion I have sought knowledge. I have wished to understand the hearts of [people]. I have wished to know why the stars shine. hi, sometimes words alone do not accurately describe the person. in any event, being honest, passionate, sincere, outgoing, fun loving, active, quick witted and always wih a positive attitude are the things that others often say about me. but then again why dont you find out for yourself;) I"m looking for someone who shares the same zest for life, honesty, intelletct, maturity and positive attitude---and it does not hurt if he is tall, handsome, and has beautiful smile.
