Im doing this against my will. Uff, mother. But yeah, I'm Laila. I'm half Afghani and half Icelandic. (Iceland is a country, I SWEAR!) I am more afghani than icelandic. I love to eat, dance (Im a bellydance instructor part time) and enjoy life. I love to joke and love to smile but most of all, i like to live because that's what I do best. ;) *muah*

I have high standards. :) Three passions have governed my life: The longings for love, the search for knowledge, And unbearable pity for the suffering of [humankind]. Love brings ecstasy and relieves loneliness. In the union of love I have seen In a mystic miniature the prefiguring vision Of the heavens that saints and poets have imagined. With equal passion I have sought knowledge. I have wished to understand the hearts of [people]. I have wished to know why the stars shine.
