I am independent, lively and outgoing for the most part. My interests in short: the gym, music (dancing), family. I am street smart, interested in current affairs and politics. (well-rounded one could say). I got a BA in something totally useless, and have no wish to further my education. Instead I found a career field I am interested in and working my way up. If I can find someone with one smigeon of the amazing character/moral values/good looks that my dad had, I would be happy. Though I rebel against a great deal of what the Afghan culture expects of females, I am essentially a "good" girl. I put a lot of credence on respect and honor. Since I come from traditional family, you can also understand that I can't send my pic all over the net, so how does one say that they are highly attractive without sounding...um, full of themselves? I look good because of my genes, but also because I work out and take care of myself. No one in my family (other than mama) wears a hijab, but at the same time we aren't out clubbing in mini-skirts either. (speaking of dancing, I love it and can do it pretty well) I am looking for someone who isn't so suffocatingly conservative nor too americanized, but has that "perfect" balance between the two. And *sigh* I am one of those materialistic girls, but gosh, we have hearts too, you know? No really, I come from a middle-class/well-to-do family and would like to maintain those standards. Just a bit more: I don't date, but talking on the phone, exchanging pics (at a later date when trust is established), or getting together for conversation is not out of the realm of possiblity.
