I am US military officer in Iraq, I am 40syrs old single father. I am from the United United of Europe to be precise. My wife died 4 years ago. I am American military officer currently recall on duty post here in Afghanistan. I am stationed at the Contingency Operating Base (COB) in Southern Afghanistan. I have an office of my own. I have been in Afghanistan for one year and three months now.
I am loving,honest and caring man with a good sense of humor, I enjoy meeting new people and their way of life, I enjoy that new parts of the world, the calm of the sea, the beauty of the mountains and everything that life has to offer. I love movies, reading books, listening to music, see God's tears when it rains, dancing to the beat, cooking .. but I can just as comfortable as at home. I'm 5'2",181cm, 201 lbs, with an athletic physique.I have always been a very sports-oriented / active person. I have light bank hair and black eyes. I enjoy movies, music, fine dining, traveling. A quiet walk or just talking over some wine and soft music with someone special is always a great pastime too.

Where do I start? I find it hard to describe myself...I guess to start off, I consider myself to be pretty laid back, enjoy spending time with my family, being around people that are positive, watching movies and trying new foods.
What I am looking for? I would like to meet a man that has a good head on his shoulders, knows what he wants in life, and has a sense of humour. I feel that it's important to really start off any relationship as good friends before it can lead to anything else because I want to eventually share my life with my best friend.
