The normal routine "Is she pretty, religious, and in school?" thing can only last so long. Looks go away in time. Religious or not plays a big part but don't nit pick at every religious factor. And a college degree doesn't guarantee you a job. Im not saying don't take those into consideration, but don't make it the only standards you have to offer. So see if we click. If that freaks you out, stop reading now. I'm a student at a University in California. I am going to school for LAW. I am a freelance photographer on the side. I love photography, it's a great hobby of mine. “Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.” I'm very much into doing my own thing. I've made my own path from a young age because I've grown up faster than most people around me. I do what I am passionate about but if loved ones have a problem with it, I will re-consider it. Don't get me wrong, that doesn't mean I'll go and do something crazy to dishonor my family. I have a very strong relationship with my family and would never do anything that will make them unhappy. But I do march to my own beat --- and I'll invite anyone along. I'm odd, have a strange sense of humor, addicted to books and soap operas, and am sarcastic at times. This can offend some men because I'm not shy about what I think --- I do speak it up. But never in a way to talk down to people. I'll just say what I feel and that's all. I try to avoid arguments as much as humanly possible. It's a waste of time being unhappy. Optimistic is what I try to be. And I love my religion, I know it inside and out. I practice it as much as any other muslim. But I feel like everyone here wants to just talk about religion. I don't have anything against it but if I'm just being preached to, I won't have it. I know about Islam and if I have any questions, I can go to the local mosque and ask a mullah. I like to get to know people for who they. I know what they believe because...I believe it to. If that is wrong, then I am wrong. I can't open messages
