| About myself | salaam...it's awkward to submit a personal ad - not exactly the traditional afghan way of doing things. i guess i'm relaxed and flexible most of the time having been brought up on the central coast of cali. i still have a strong foundation of afghan values but in a very moderate way. i consider myself to be progressive, very american in many ways, lean to the left politically, but will never completely assimilate into western culture. i try to live an active and healthy lifestyle and stay fit. i'm looking for marriage possibilities with someone who has a similar mix of afghan traditions and western culture. i'm trying hard to avoid sounding conceited (i'm imperfect just like you) but i'm very open minded and would like to hear from those bold enough to say: 'what's up?' email [aryansheik at ya h oo com] since i don't have a full account (i'm a little skeptical)...<br><br>i should mention that i'm not very religious and don't intend to become so. it'd be awesome if you thought similarly, could deal with this, OR introduce me to someone you might know that's in the same boat. this is apparently very uncommon amongst afghans. |
