About myself |
Salaam Alaykum, I am a God fearing, practicing Muslim ( not a mullah), with moderate views on life. I appreciate knowledge ( both secular and religious), nature, art, beauty, and wisdom. Alhamdulillah, I am a confident and happy individual with positive attitude, someone who is loyal, Funny, honest, respectful, family oriented, fun loving with a great sense of humor. I consider myself smart, logical, reasonable and some what romantic. I am a professional who is working full time and going to school part time (taking classes towards my Masters Degree). I have always stayed away from drinking, smoking, drugs, clubbing, bad company, and things of this nature; I expect the same from my better half. I do enjoy site seeing, playing sports, music, movies, spending time with family and friends, attending Islamic lectures, and traveling. My family members are simple, well educated, well mannered, broadminded, loving, down to earth, drama free, and practicing moderate Muslims. I believe the first step for marriage should be mutual physical and intellectual attraction as well as ideological compatibility; however what makes this lifelong bond strongest is being a good Muslim: Obeying Allah (swt), selflessness, patience, loyalty, forgiveness, fairness, respect, and kindness. Please feel free to ask if there is more you like to know. I don't check this site much, please reach me by email…it is my user name as it appears at yah...oo. |
Match General Description |
A smart practicing Muslimah with inner and outer beauty: loyal, respectful, considerate, educated, family oriented , drama free, and easy going. Someone who knows how to enjoy dunya (in a Halal way )without losing site of Akhira. I prefer someone who has at least her bachelor degree or in her way to get one ( I promise I will not complain if you have a PhD), someone who is living in the USA or Canada, and coming from a practicing Muslim family. My intention here is to find my better half, insha-Allah, and would like to get a chance to know her a little, in HALLA way, and give her a chance to know me. If you are interested please be ready and willing to share your pictures… I don't check this site much, I can be reached by email…it is my user name as it appears at yah...oo. Let’s agree that we say what we mean and mean what we say; no games and no time wasting. Let’s agree that we would not pretend to be someone who we are not. Let’s agree that we treat each other with respect and keep all communications confidential. Let's agree if either side says we are not suitable match, it is not a rejection but a chance for both sides to find better soul mates. Here is the most important question/criteria of all: Is pleasing Allah (swt) #1 priority in our life? Do we think of HIM when we wake up, before we go to sleep, before doing any thing major. Do we stop our self (for HIS sake) before we backbite, act selfishly, let arrogance/hate find place in our heart, thinking of doing something haram/ wrong, taking others right, become unthankful. Do we continue to improve doing ( from our heart) what Allah (swt) has asked of us to do? Do we reflect on our actions and try to judge ourselves NOT others. Alhamdulillah, I am thriving to make Allah swt my #1 priority in life, and would ONLY want someone who has the same priority InSha Allah,as my life partner. May Allah swt guide us all, and bring forth what is best for our Akhira and dunya. |
