Salaam Alaykum,
I am a God fearing, practicing Muslim ( not a mullah), with moderate views on life. I appreciate knowledge ( both secular and religious), nature, art, beauty, and wisdom.
Alhamdulillah, I am a confident and happy individual with positive attitude, someone who is loyal, Funny, honest, respectful, family oriented, fun loving with a great sense of humor. I consider myself smart, logical, reasonable and some what romantic. I am a professional who is working full time and going to school part time (taking classes towards my Masters Degree).
I have always stayed away from drinking, smoking, drugs, clubbing, bad company, and things of this nature; I expect the same from my better half.
I do enjoy site seeing, playing sports, music, movies, spending time with family and friends, attending Islamic lectures, and traveling.
My family members are simple, well educated, well mannered, broadminded, loving, down to earth, drama free, and practicing moderate Muslims.
I believe the first step for marriage should be mutual physical and intellectual attraction as well as ideological compatibility; however what makes this lifelong bond strongest is being a good Muslim: Obeying Allah (swt), selflessness, patience, loyalty, forgiveness, fairness, respect, and kindness.

In Islam, marriage is a blessed contract between a man and a woman, in which each becomes “permitted” to the other, and they begin the long journey of life in a spirit of love, co-operation, harmony and tolerance, where each feels at ease with the other, and finds tranquility, contentment and comfort in the company of the other. The Qur’an has described this relationship between men and women, which brings love, harmony, trust and compassion, in the most moving and eloquent terms (And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your [hearts] (Qur’an 30:21) A righteous woman is the greatest blessing that Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala) can give to a man, for with her he can find comfort and rest after the exhausting struggle of earning a living. With his wife, he can find incomparable tranquility and pleasure. I am serious about marriage and would like to establish a relationship that will lead to marriage, inshaAllah. I am an optimistic person and I enjoy the little things in life. laugh and make jokes a lot. like the outdoors and staying fit. I am studying final year at university.
